Ever since dropping Future and Hndrxx back-to-back in 2017 — the albums were released within a week of each other and each took turns at the top of the Billboard 200 chart — the Atlanta-bred MC of the same name has been riding the wave of maintaining two equally successful rap personas. Well, now they meet for the ultimate style-off to see who can rock the new Reebok Aztrek the best.
In the official campaign video (seen above), ‘Bok’s most flashy brand ambassador describes the difference between his two alter egos, stating, “Hndrxx is more over-the-top — whatever I’m wearing, whatever I throw on and however I feel is just like a vibe; you don’t know what you will get,” while Future is more “direct” with his steez and delivers what you expect from a multiplatinum-selling rapper at the top of his game. The way we see it, no matter which side we ultimately get, he’ll always bring forth some fresh hits and even flyer swag. Adding the Aztrek into the mix is only an added bonus. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens if Meathead or The Wizrd ever decide to come out and play.
