Victor Oladipo seems to still have his ball handling skill in tacked, while he is rehabbing from his grueling season-ending knee injury.
While he’s in a leg brace, his personal trainer posted a video of Oladipo dribbling Sunday.
Oladipo was balling early on this season before the injury occurred. He was selected as an NBA All-Star for the second consecutive season but was replaced by Nets guard D’Angelo Russell after suffering the injury. Oladipo was named the NBA’s Most Improved Player in 2017-18.
Even without Oladipo, the Pacers seem to be doing well. They remain the third best team in the Eastern Conference with a 40-17 record. They have also won eight of their last ten games. They didn’t let Oladipo’s injury affect the momentum they had going on when he was still with the team. In fact, Indiana is using him as an inspiration to keep playing their best version of basketball every game. This should let Oladipo just focus on getting better, as he knows that the team is doing well without him and will continue to do so once he returns.
Oladipo is expected to miss the rest of the season as well as the first half of the next, but once he returns, it should make the Pacers a top four Eastern Conference team.
