Fresh off welcoming Kawhi Leonard to the fam during All-Star Weekend with his own signature shoe, New Balance is now taking us back 30 years to celebrate the anniversary of the classic 1500 with a two-shot deal that reminds everyone why we’ve all loved the brand for so long.
Featured alongside the 1500 in this “Anniversary Pack” is the new 1530, both keeping with NB’s signature runner-ready construction of suede, premium leather and mesh on the upper. While the former utilizes a neutral navy hue, the latter opts for a classic grey base that incorporates shades of blue via the accents. The main difference between the two is the updated RevLite sole on the 1530, which actually makes the shoe 30% lighter and sit higher up on the foot. You really can’t go wrong with either option, and honestly we recommend just copping both.
Expect the New Balance 1500/1530 “Anniversary Pack” to arrive this Saturday (March 2), with both going for €180 EUR ($205 USD) at select NB retailers like 43einhalb who provided the lookbook below:
