There’s no denying that adidas is good for releasing more than just fresh drops alongside Kanye West, and the latest release to prove that is this new colorway for the ZX 4000 silhouette.
Coming in an earthy “Sesame” colorway, the shoe utilizes a primary base of light and dark browns mixed with a more colorful palette of light pink, green and blue. A textured toe box and heel counter gives the silhouette even more dimension via vertical stripes, and with the built-in Torsion technology you’ve got a shoe that packs in just as much performance as it does style. Granted, the name of the colorway is definitely inspired by the contrast between the light and dark color of Sesame seeds, but we can’t help but imagine this being a lowkey Sesame Street tribute with the blue accents being homage to Cookie Monster, yellow Torsion plate underfoot for Big Bird, the pink for Abby and the green of course representing Oscar the Grouch. Hey, we can imagine!
