Air Max Day will soon be here as March 26 is just a few weeks away, and Nike plans to give us a whole week to get prepared by releasing what is sure to be one of the biggest drops for the occasion.
The upcoming Air Max “Throwback Future” Pack consists of eight silhouettes from the vault, some classics from the past and others currently setting the tone for a new generation of sneaker tech. The ones representing a “throwback” vibe are some of the faves, including the Air Max 95 ($160 USD), Air Max Plus ($160 USD) and updated Air Max 97 LX ($170 USD) that acts as a sort of bridge between the two Swoosh generations. For the silhouettes pushing us into the “future,” you’ve got the Air Max 270 ($150 USD), spanking-new Air Max 720 ($180 USD; exclusive to Greater China), Vapormax 2019 and its Run Utility counterpart (both $190 USD), and finally the Air Max DIA ($120 USD) for a little Women’s History Month addition to the set. The iridescent blue and purple colorway seen throughout the entire collection definitely plays up the futuristic theme, and overall just looks amazing under bright light or in a dark setting as well.
Expect the Nike Air Max “Throwback Future” Pack to drop on Nike.com and NSW retailers beginning on March 21, just in time to rock them for Air max Day on March 26. Peep the rest of the set below:
