When Spike Lee first dropped the film in 1986, to say it was a game changer would be an understatement. Highlighting sexual liberation and sex-positive identity through the of Black woman was iconoclastic.  Now as season two is to be released, Lee will continue to explore the themes of love, sex, and relationships, from the perspective of Nola Darling.
