Crews is one of the few men to publicly share a personal #MeToo story, claiming he was assaulted by former WME agent Adam Venit during an industry party in 2016. Crews eventually sue Venit and WME agency. The case was settled and Venit retired in September.

Hughley has also expressed his anger at the #MeToo movement got upset when Crews was “groped” but he did not see the same public outrage “when I see a young…girl get slammed down by police.”

Not will D.L. Hughley be working on his daily late-night show on TV One but on the same network, Hughley will be featured on the popular show Uncensored on March 17th.
