Streetwear imprint Only NY makes it a mission to always put on for the Big Apple, as we saw last year with the SS18 offering, and now the brand is dropping a Spring 2019 capsule in partnership with the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.
The collection pays homage to some of the city’s most well-known public spaces, including the Greenwich Village-bordering Washington Square Park that NYU students have unofficially taken claim over, the Lower East Side’s East River Park that has served the community for decades with a space for cookouts and outdoor gatherings, the “Central Park alternative” for Brooklyn known as Prospect Park, Central Park for those that simply love the classics, the West 4th Street Courts that have hosted some of the best streetball games in all of NYC, and finally Riverside Park and Harlem River Park that are both some of the finest attractions for Uptown residents. The homage also extends to the Department of Sanitation and Department of Transportation, with all of these institutions getting a range of designs on a set of tees, tote bags, hoodies, headwear and even a frisbee to really get you in the spring season spirit.
