adidas Originals continues their collaboration with Stormzy this month, reuniting with the pioneering South London rapper on a new installment of their collaborative SPRT apparel collection.
True to the aesthetic of previous releases, the latest release presents an elevated take on Stormzy’s distinctive style. Central to the release are the Flamestrike Tracksuit, Track Jacket and Track Pant, which each feature a distinctive graphic motif inspired by archive ‘90s football training designs.
The Flamestrike Track Top and Track Pant are constructed from a lightweight woven fabric, featuring Durable Water-Repellent coating along with tonal 3-stripe mark on the sleeves and legs, as well as essential Trefoil logo branding on the left chest and leg.
The complementary Flamestrike Tracksuit then offers a similar aesthetic in a classic polyester fabric, contrasted with a white 3-stripe mark.
Rounding out the release, two t-shirts offer classic 3-stripe styles with graphic flare. A green jersey t-shirt is rendered in a striking tie-dye aesthetic, accented by 3-stripe mark on each sleeve and finished with an embroidered Trefoil logo on the chest, while a second version offers this same style with a futuristic liquid metal all-over print.
Overall, the latest release from the SPRT collection stays true to the faultless street aesthetic that Stormzy has championed throughout his career, offering a subtle, stylized take on essential 3-stripe silhouettes.
