We’ve seen Boston’s famously-hidden streetwear haven Bodega drop some collaborative heat in the past, and definitely peeped a classic colorway for the New Balance 997S silhouette arrive just last month, but a fresh new collab between both parties is about to hit shelves that finds the perfect middle point between kooky and cool that sneakerheads are sure to go crazy over.
The mixture of prints, patterns and hues on this sneaker model looks like a Frankenstein project gone absolutely right, including signature mesh on the vamp, suede mudguard, a gate-like textured heel counter, lateral terry cloth quarter panel, medial leather quarter panel and a neoprene collar that combined takes mixed-material to the ultimate next level. The color combo is just as diverse, with purple, teal, black, off-white, classic grey and a tiger-inspired print found on the inner “N” logo and a lace option (seen above) being placed on various parts of the silhouette. Each of those elements, paired with the classic ABZORB and ENCAP cushioning technology, will certainly add an eclectic option to your current sneaker rotation.
