Amazon is teaming up with Meek Mill for a six-part documentary series. The series which is being described as “fight for exoneration while exposing flaws in the criminal justice system” will focus on Mill’s life over the past ten years and will feature topics when he assaulted an officer at 18 years old and when he was arrested for illegally owning a firearm.

The series Free Meek is expected to premiere this year and is executive produced by Jay-Z and Roc Nation, Intellectual Property Corps’s Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman.

The docuseries will also give viewers a look at the flawed justice system and how it can lead to harsh consequences for people of color.

In a statement, Meek says, “I’m grateful for this unique opportunity to share my story, and I look forward to collaborating with Amazon Prime Video, Roc Nation and the Intellectual Property Corporation on this incredible series,” Mill said. “Not only will this documentary give viewers an unprecedented look at my life, but it will also allow me to use my public platform to highlight the need for criminal justice reform.”
