After dropping a limited edition “Paradise” varsity jacket in collaboration with Dok2 last month, streetwear imprint Renowned LA rolls out a full range collection for SS19 that manages to stand out by going completely dark on the overall aesthetic.
Dream-like graphic motifs and literal skeleton graphics bring out the darker elements in the new “Shadows” collection. From T-shirts that bring back the brand’s signature color-blocking split construction, to the more experimental pieces that include a bulletproof-style vest and a cropped puffer option, the set as a whole gives us essentials stapes to streetwear and a touch of next-level design that gives Renowned its own brand identity. Paired with a lookbook that features Fear of God muse Geron McKinley, “Shadows” is ironically about to shed some serious light on a label that you’ll definitely be seeing a lot of in 2019.
