Although Lil Wayne is arguably one of the best rappers and freestyles on all his tracks, there was a moment in life when he put the pen to the paper.
Moments in Time got their hands on a notebook from 1999 that an upcoming 17-year-old Weezy used to write his lyrics in. The rare collection is on the market for $250K and features lyrics from “We On Fire” and “I Feel” during Wayne’s time with the rap group “Hot Boys.”
The person who possessed the book says he found it in a car that once belonged to Cash Money Records. He worked for a dealership that took ownership of the car and found the notebook when looking through it.
The notebook has some water damage from Hurricane Katrina but it’s still a piece of Hip Hop history that’s worth a pretty penny.
