Maria Myraine, which are her first names (it’s a Filipino thing), is a digital specialist based out of New York City. The Cebu, Philippines native spent a chunk of her life in the Hartford area of Connecticut, but moved to NYC after recovering from a near-fatal car accident in 2004. With a new outlook on life, Maria Myraine attended St. John’s University where she started her first blog in 2010 (along with her roommate, Erika).

That blog was the gateway to a plethora of experiences and opportunities in the years to come. In 2011, she earned her Bachelors degree, while jumpstarting her career in digital media and public relations. One of her first major clients was iconic Hip Hop producer, Ski Beatz, who is responsible for Jay Z’s “Reasonable Doubt.” At this time, Ski was working alongside Dame Dash as they revived Roc-A-Fella Records. Maria Myraine worked Ski’s “24 Hour Karate School Presents Twilight” album release campaign, while simultaneously managing Detroit’s, Clear Soul Forces.

Since then, Maria Myraine has worked with a plethora of artists, and brands to maximize their digital strategies and publicity campaigns. Today, she has tapped into content creation, aligning with brands such as King Ice, Hot 97 and more to produce digital content.

Outside of the digital realm, Maria Myraine is also a rising independent model who has been featured in Vibe Magazine’s “Vibe Vixen of the Day” campaign, a BET Jams hosted music video featuring Fabolous, various fashion shows, and even a billboard in Times Square as seen below (she was selected as one of the “Top 100 North American Pinays” by Pinay Magazine).

As the year nears the final quarter, Maria Myraine keeps busy and productive with new content, along with her one-man production crew, #yeaimMike, managing digital content for King Ice and United Way of New York City, strategizing publicity campaigns for an array of clients, securing new brand partnerships and modeling opportunities.

Waking up from that coma in 2004, and recovering from an accident that nearly took her life, makes Maria Myraine an unstoppable force. She’s definitely a women on a mission.
