Oct 8-13 A post shared by 2 Chainz Aka Tity Boi (@2chainz) on Sep 27, 2019 at 6:50pm PDT While music and technology are the two pillars of A3C, the three-day event serves up much more than that. For 15 years, the festival has been a breeding ground for cutting edge culture coming out of the South from all aspects: parties from day to night, a handful of speaker series, showcases, panels, comedy shows and even a $25,000 USD “pitch competition” for startups are just a portion of the massive amount of scheduled events. For 2 Chainz part, he’ll serve as a core curator as it relates to selecting speakers, performers and, according to his exclusive interview with Entrepreneur, will also stand in for the closing keynote for his inaugural year on board. Here’s what he had to say about joining the A3C team, via Entrepreneur: “I think investing is a good thing, period — especially anything involving a festival, music, something along those lines. I feel like A3C has the trajectory to be the next South by Southwest, as far as growing musical talent. We’re trying to implement more in the tech space, more in TV and film. So that’s where I see a value, and where I see an opening for me to get involved, to push the culture forward.” — 2 Chainz We can’t wait to see what he does with the festival, which boasts an annual attendance of 30,000, especially with his many connections in the game.
