Even though Kanye West still has us waiting for his new album Jesus is King, he decided to remind us why the album is definitely worth the wait during his latest Sunday Service session in the Jamaica, Queens borough of New York City.
Belting out a freestyle in true “old Kanye” fashion according to TMZ, Yeezy had The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York rocking earlier today (September 29) with a fresh-off-the-dome freestyle that had the entire congregation waving their hands in the air. Of those in the crowd included Akon, Alexander Wang and Swizz Beatz who even got a shoutout in his bars. The service was followed by a Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience screening in Manhattan at the United Palace, so hopefully that means the album will soon follow. Fingers crossed, again!
