Just when you think you couldn’t love Robert De Niro even more, he goes and says something that many Americans have been wanting to say to Donald Trump and his supporters for over three years now.

Yes, the Academy Award-winning actor went there during a sit-down interview with Brian Stelter of CNN’s Reliable Sources this morning. His strong choice of words were in reaction to his feelings about Trump and FOX News coming at him about his opinions, particularly the one where he feels that Agent Orange shouldn’t be President of the United States to begin with. He goes on to back up his opinion by saying Trump’s movements in recent government affairs have been “like a gangster,” elaborating by stating, “He’s come along, and he’s said things [and] done things. We say over and over again, ‘This is terrible!’ We’re in a terrible situation.” It can be assumed that the “we” in his story would make up us fellow Americans, and with all the madness that’s been going on lately we can’t say the GoodFellas star is too far off.
