Ford celebrated the pride and tradition of HBCU’s on a tour that donated $20 per test drive of an F-150 to the Tom Joyner Foundation to support HBCU’s across the country. The tour brought car karaoke, games and giveaways to campuses, while also providing a winner with the ultimate tailgate prize package.

“Homecoming and classic season is the best time to celebrate the history and traditions of our Historically Black Colleges and Universities,” said Dibrie Guerrero, multicultural marketing manager, Ford Motor Company. “Ford is proud to support Historically Black Colleges and Universities through this fall’s F-150 Truck Tour.”

The tour used the F-150 to celebrate sports, music, and culture. The tour hit the Libert Bowl Memorial Stadium for the Southern Heritage Classic between Jackson State University and Tennessee State University in September and Prairie View A&M University Homecoming to see the Panthers take on the Virginia University of Lynchburg in October. The tour wraps this weekend at the North Carolina Central University Homecoming that will see NCCU take on Norfolk State University.
