The Breakfast Club has become one of the loudest voices during the 2020 Presidential Campaign and 1/3 of the iHeartRadio broadcast is adding more action to their status. Charlamagne Tha God helped Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris with her plan for mental health that came out on Tuesday.

Harris rolled out her “Mental Health On Demand” plan in CthaGod’s home state of South Carolina on Monday. According to her website, the plan will be covered in her medicare for all legislation that will permit mental health treatment by phone or video without a deductible or copay.

As the author of Shook Ones: Anxiety Playing Tricks on Me, Charlamagne has become a major advocate for mental health in the Black community.  Charla has publicly supported Kamala Harris during her campaign and has interviewed the candidate on The Breakfast Club as well as many other Democratic candidates such as Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Cory Booker, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and Senator Bernie Sanders.

In an Instagram post, The Brilliant Idiots co-host highlights Harris’ plan to provide evidence-based screenings for childhood trauma to help diagnose mental illness earlier in life.

“Mental health should really be on every presidential candidates ballot. I want everyone to #InvestInYourMentalWealth but I want this country to make an investment as well,” Charla wrote in the caption.
