According to a recent report from TMZ, members of the late Juice WRLD’s road squad told authorities that the 21-year-old rapper had “popped several unknown pills” before suffering from the seizures that killed him.
Also, the FBI uncovered 70 pounds of marijuana from several suitcases found on the private jet that flew Juice WRLD, whose real name is Jerad Higgins, from California to Chicago. Additionally, two men from Juice’s team were arrested for handgun possession.
Ay least one member of Juice’s team admitted that he had a pill problem, particularly Percocets. Police also say that a bottle of codeine cough syrup was found on the plane.
Higgins’ cause of death has yet to be determined, but the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office is slated to conduct an autopsy today.
