Hip-Hop is saddened by the loss of a talented young superstar, Juice Wrld. The 21-year-old rapper was pronounced dead on Sunday, Dec. 8 after suffering from a seizure that sent him into cardiac arrest. Juice Wrld was known for his freestyling ability. He went on record saying that he freestyled his entire debut album. As complicated as that sounds, his ability to do so was developed over time.
In an interview with The Breakfast Club, he tells the hosts that he began rapping at a young age. Although his mother forbid him from listening to rap, he would do so with his cousins. He developed his own flow and began to practice from there. A video surfaced earlier of Juice Wrld rap battling back in high school
Earlier this year, the “Hear Me Calling” artist impressed many after his Funk Flex freestyle.
It was reported earlier that Juice popped a number of unidentified pills before the seizures. There were over 70 lbs of marijuana discovered on the young rapper’s private jet, along with a bottle of codeine cough syrup. There have been no reports on an autopsy.
The Chicago rapper burst onto the scene in 2018 with his smash hit “Lucid Dreams.” The song peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is also a certified 6x platinum. Many artists have posted to remember the fallen talent. Most recently, G Herbo took to Instagram for a heartfelt post.
“Sorry 2 ya mom man from the bottom of our heart man we love you!” said the fellow Chicago rapper.
