Cardi B’s journeys into court are doubling as a runway. Heading into a Queens courtroom on Tuesday (Dec. 10), Cardi made a fashion statement in a feather-trimmed black coat with a train that followed over a few feet behind her.
The Invasion of Privacy rapper was back in court opposing felony charges that are connected to an August 2018 fight at a strip club. According to Billboard, lawyers lobbied for the social media messages of the alleged victims in an effort to prove their client is innocent by “investigating all aspects.”
It was reported that Cardi and her entourage argued with a bartender at Angels strip club, leading to a brawl where bottles and more were thrown.
Back to her fashion choice, Cardi shared an image online, smiling in the coat and simply stating “Court” with two annoyed emoji.
