According to a confirmed report from The New York Times, Harvey Weinstein has finally reached a settlement with his sexual assault accusers for a whopping $25 million.
Weinstein and his lawyers landed the deal yesterday, which means in lieu of payment, the shamed Hollywood producer will not have to admit to any crime to any of the dozens of alleged victims.
All of the accusers will have to split the $25 million that will be paid by the insurance companies that represent the Weinstein Company. There is a separate payout of $18.5 million that will be set aside for anticipated, future accusers. The settlement also immunizes Weinstein and The Weinstein Company will get dismissed.
