Vick who had 1039 yards in a season, was passed up by Jackson in the first quarter of Thursday’s game against the Jets. Jackson now has 1,103 rushing yards on the season after an 86 yard outing on Thursday. Jackson has the opportunity to put some distance between him and the former Atlanta Falcons QB with two games left in the season and the Ravens seeking a first place in the AFC going into the playoffs.

The Ravens have won 10 straight games and last night clinched the AFC North division in their 42-21 defeat of the Jets. Lamar Jackson filled out the stat sheet with 5 passing touchdowns and no interceptions in 23 attempts. The former Louisville QB also averaged just under 11 yards per carrying with 86 yards rushing on 8 carries.

Fox Sports Analyst Skip Bayless called Lamar Jackson “the best running back in the NFL” and “an MVP of a passer.” Skip claims that Jackson is a better rusher than Christian McCaffrey, Ezekiel Elliott and any other positioned RB that has been tearing up the field this season.
