SZA must have had some time earlier this week. December 22nd, she teased fans with news of a possible collaboration with Texas Hottie, Meg the Stallion. It began when a fan told the CTRL artist that she would like a collab from ex 5th Harmony group member, Normani. “Girl we STILL want that SZA x Normani collab,” the fan wrote. “Lmao I’m zown she know dat !!!” SZA tweeted back to the fan. SZA responded to another tweet when a fan suggested that her and Meg the Stallion make a hit. “I want SZA x Megan.” the comment read. “Now das already cut n recorded,” the singer responded back.
In August, SZA announced that her second studio album would be coming soon. She stated Justin Timberlake, Post Malone, Jack Antonoff and BROCKHAMPTON were features on the upcoming album. Could she possibly be making Meg The Stallion apart of that list? “This next album is even more of me being less afraid,” she said in an interview with Kerwin Frost.
Fans are excited for a well-needed collab between the two. It’s no secret SZA is a fan of the Hot Girl’s music as she danced to her song, “Big Ole Freak” during her set at the Dreamville fest. Hopefully, the album will come just in time for the New Year!
