Over the years, Lil Uzi Vert has had no issue in being transparent with his feelings to fans. In October, Uzi posted on social media some depressing journal entries that left fans with empathy. Amongst the depressing post, Uzi posted a conversation between him and his ex. One of his messages sent in the thread read, “I can’t believe you left me and I never left you.” Following the post of the messages, Uzi also posted himself searching on google, “Why is Lil Uzi so Sad.” Lil Uzi says that his reason for going on a depressing post spree during the holidays is because he is lonely.
This time around it seems as though Uzi wants fans to know that this holiday, he is alone for a different reason. In fact, instead of heartache, fans may be excited for the reason that Uzi says he is alone on New Year’s Day. “Alone on New Year’s for the right reasons #work,” the rapper posted.
Fans can take the hint and assume that Uzi has something cooking up in the studio! In that case, Uzi fans can all Futsal Shuffle into the New Year, knowing that the rapper is preparing to drop new music.
