If you didn’t know, about 500 million animals were killed in Australia from bush fires. Animal lovers worldwide are doing what they can to help. A social media model offered to DM nudes to people who can confirm they donated to Australia.
Kaylen Ward, who has now been dubbed the Naked Philanthropist on Twitter, direct messaged her private pictures to those who donated $10 towards one of the Australian fundraisers.
“I had a professional go through my statistics in my Twitter messages and they have estimated that so far, $300k has been raised for the Australian wildfires. Although I am unusable to continue replying to DMs, they are still flowing in like crazy. Thank you all so much,” the 20-year-old revealed.
Ward said she was inspired to launch the popular campaign because the tragedy wasn’t getting major coverage in comparison to other disasters.
“It’s devastating and any normal person would be concerned and want to help,” she said on Twitter, per Brobible. “I saw so much media coverage about other things happening in the world, like when Notre Dame burned down and lots of people were posting and donating, but I didn’t see a lot of people doing that for Australia.”
