The Rickey Smiley Morning Show made its radio re-debut on Jan. 6, 2020 in the Urban AC market. The show will be on the 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. ET time slot.
Ebony reports the move to the Urban AC market will place Smiley in the spot once held by Tom Joyner. Joining Smiley in his transition will be familiar faces Eva Marcille, Gary Wit Da Tea, Da Brat, Rock T and Special K. The music will transition from a blend of current Hip-Hop and R&b bangers to “energetic soundtracks of R&B hits” catered to an adult audience.
