The son of living basketball legend LeBron James, who’s known to his close friends and teammates as “Bronny”, has added NCCU to the colleges that are in the bidding war to acquire the heir to the King James legacy.

North Carolina Central University, a prestigious Historically Black College (HBCU), has put itself in the ranks of the likes of the University of Kentucky and Duke University, who have all offered the 15-year-old freshman a full ride.

According to b-ball critics, Bronny has been given these offers on pedigree and promise that the 6’2″ guard’s ball-handling skills are equal or better than his dad’s.

NCCU has a winning program that has won the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference’s tournament for three straight years to advance to the prized NCAA tournament. While the Eagles were defeated in each of those three first-round games, a prized recruit like Bronny could prove to be all the difference.
