Lil Yachty has another project on the way.
The Quality Control rapper is gearing up to release his fourth studio album. Since his last project, Nuthin’ 2 Prove, Yachty has lent his pen to his QC label mates. The “Who Want the Smoke” rapper co-wrote City Girls’ Summer anthem, “Act Up.” During the music video, Yachty even pauses Yung Miami to show her how she should recite a part in the verse.
Now that his album is done, Lil Yachty is focused on promotion. He took to Twitter recently to put the world on notice. He feels that people still discredit him, despite his past success as an artist.
Based on his tweet, it looks like Lil Boat is on a mission to wake a lot of people up with this upcoming album. Quality Control currently has an elite roster full of hitmakers, including Migos, Lil Baby and City Girls. Now that JT is back, City Girls are whole once again. The anticipation for the Girl Code intensified upon’s JT’s release. So far the duo has released two singles, “JT First Day Out” and “You Tried It.” After the success of “Act Up,” it is possible that Coach K or Pee will look to his pen for other upcoming projects on the label.
In the meantime, the Atlanta rapper is ready to take the first quarter of 2020 by storm. There has been no release date for an album, nor a single, but fans can expect something soon from Lil Boat.
