We have all heard about Jada Pinkett Smith and Tupac Shakur’s love.
Something that started when the two of them were young teenagers in high school, back in Baltimore, and dreaming of lives on the big stage. They had a thing… a soul thing…
Pinkett Smith is quoted as saying, “It is really difficult to explain because the type of relationship we had was once in a lifetime.”
“Tupac and I were just close friends” she also said, “because we had such an insatiable drive and passion for acting and entertainment.”
Pac loved himself some Jada.
In fact, he wrote this poem for her entitled: JADA.

Indeed they were soul mates… but believe it or not… friends believe that there might have been another soul tie that Tupac. Another beautiful person that once we consider her character, should not be shocked. That would be Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.
According to the new Lifetime documentary, Hopelessly in Love: Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and Andre Rison, Lisa and Pac had a thing too.
So intense was their relationship that it caused major tension between she and Andre Rison.
“Lisa adored Tupac.” One of her friends shared. “If Tupac was willing to go there, then Lisa would have definitely dated Tupac.
Another friend recalled, “So when he got out it was a time that she could reflect on who she wanted to be with: Andre or Tupac.”
Story after story untangled an intricate web of anecdotes that wove a beautiful friendship that many could not understand was not sexual, especially her fiancé Andre Rison. Rison, who had acquired a reputation as being super jealous, popped up places waiting to break things. up.
Andre remembered, “I remember that Lisa lied to me that night that Tupac had picked her up from my house and I had heard rumors about her love for Pac. And Tupac is my friend… I am just sitting there wondering if it were true.”
“I was at the Grammys’ party and she wasn’t there. Tionne and Chilli were there but not her. She had left with Pac. “
Her friend understood why Andre was jealous, but she also knew that there was no real reason. The two just were who they were: Soulmates.
“They had this strong connection. They completed each other’s sentences and knew each other’s thoughts… They were a strange love story because her and Pac never slept together and she and Andre were in a full-fledged relationship.”
Suge Knight even said it, “Lisa ain’t love nobody like she loved Pac, but her and Pac never had sex. I mean, he would have told me. She would have told me.”
Knight continued, “He was like ‘Well I’m gonna be with her… So if I am gonna be with her… I don’t want to f*ck her.”
“He really wanted to be with her and she really wanted to be with her too.”
“Lisa loved Andre, but it was like Tupac was her soul mate.”
After Pac died, Lisa like the entire world took it hard. Well, maybe not like the entire world. Friends say it tore her apart.
“Lisa was devasted when Pac died. She just wasn’t right anymore.”
In fact, she did a painting of Tupac and on the back of it, she wrote that they would be together in ten years. Ironically, they are together now.
“Andre had her heart. Tupac had her soul.”
