Former NFL star wide receiver Chad Johnson aka Chad Ochocinco is making his return to football. He announced on Twitter that he is trying out with the Houston Roughnecks of the newly reformed XFL to be a kicker in the upcoming season.
“The opportunity to kick in the XFL has presented itself, i must tryout Monday in Houston, I’m excited as hell & I’m sure all will go well,” Johnson said to his followers.
Ochocinco shared footage of him kicking a ball in December with the aim to be back in the NFL as a kicker. If he finds success in the XFL he may be able to carry it into a role.
