Boosie Badazz easily became one of social media’s favorite public figures. For whatever reason, a rumor started that he beat up George Zimmerman and Black Twitter was rejoicing.
A report suggested that it all went down at a Miami Walmart parking lot after the rapper recognized that “fat a** n*gga that killed Trayvon Martin.” After Zimmerman allegedly reached for his weapon, Boosie beat him up and sent him to the hospital.
The fake story started circulating and Boosie began getting praised, but he shut down the false reports as soon as he could.

“Aye, service announcement from Boosie,” the rapper began. “I never seen George in my life but on TV. This is a lie. Leave me alone. I never seen George Zimmerman in my life. George don’t know me.”
