Meek Mill is set to make his feature film debut in the upcoming bike film Charm City Kings this year.

The film follows a 14-year old boy played by, Jahi Di’Allo Winston, who is embraced by a dirt biker, played by the Philly rapper. Will Catlett, Teyonah Parris, Donielle Tremaine Hansley, and Kezii Curtis are all apart of the cast.

Angel Manuel Soto will helm the film, alongside Moonlight director, Barry Jenkins, who served as a co-writer. Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith are the executive producers, as per Pitchfork.

In recent Meek Mill news, the wrongful death lawsuit case that was filed against him in 2017 was dismissed. Jaquan Graves was fatally shot at the rapper’s Connecticut 2016 show.

Meek was hit with a separate lawsuit from Travis Ward’s estate, who was also killed during the shooting. Both estates proposed to settle for $3 million but that’s not happening.
