Bad Boys II is arguably the best installment of the franchise (so far), and we just learned that Seth Rogen contributed to the script.

Will Smith recently detailed the director, Michael Bay, intentionally made the original film more serious and directed him to “just stand there and be hard.” The 2003 follow-up was a lot funnier and interestingly Rogan had something to do with that.

The Superbad actor made the revelation on Twitter after one user argued that Bad Boys II is better. “I helped rewrite bad boys 2,” Rogen tweeted. He added in another tweet: “Judd was rewriting it and me and Evan were broke so he gave us a bit of money to help. I don’t remember much but we all definitely wrote the joke where they don’t know the words to the song, and where Martin shoots the machine gun in the car by accident. And probably many more…”
