The OVO crooner ended 2019 with the release of 2 singles, “The News” and “Loyal.” The latter track featured October Very Own’s head honcho, Drake. PND released the claymation inspired video last week.

PARTYNEXTDOOR took to Twitter Tuesday night to give some updates on his upcoming project. Initially, the Grammy-nominated artist stated that his album would release this month. After last night, this is no longer the case.

Along with the album title, PND plans to push back the release date of his upcoming to February.

“I promise the extra time will be worth it,” he said.

For the many PND stans, they would have to wait a little longer to bask in new tunes from the Toronto singer. It has been over 2 years since the release of his last project, Seven Days. The 2017 EP had one lone feature from Rick Ross. It was one of 2 EP’s released in 2017 from PARTYNEXTDOOR. He dropped Colours 2 in June of that year, which featured 4 songs, but no features.

Throughout his career, the 26-year-old artist’s projects typically have one lone feature. Drake has been the lone featured artist of all of his 3 studio albums. His EPs have followed the same model, with Ross being the only artist outside of Drake to share a song with PARTYNEXTDOOR.

With PARTYMOBILE around the corner, it’s possible that PND will stick to the same formula that has developed his following. New decade, new PARTY? Fans can only wait and see in February.
