In celebration of Black History Month, 1xRun presents Most of My Heroes Don’t Appear On No Stamps, a collection of prints curated by Greg Cummins. The collection is inspired by Public Enemy’s “Fight The Power” and rewrites history through fine art “stamp” editions.

Most Of My Heroes Don’t Appear On No Stamps is a personal tribute by Cummins to emerging artists and utilizes an actual stamp medium to showcase the work of each artist.

“The works in this collection are selected from a wide variety of emerging African-American artists,” said Cummins. “I realize that most artists aren’t great self promoters, they don’t seek publicity. Anytime I can provide an opportunity for artists to exhibit or get exposure I gladly assist.”

One of the pieces can be seen below and the full collection can be seen here.
