Star is currently pregnant and is due any day from now. According to officials, she will not be arrested until after she gives birth to her baby boy.

Born Yonette Respass, she was among 18 defendants named in an indictment of the 5-9 Brims, a subset of the Bloods gang, in the Southern District Court of New York. According to prosecutors, Star Brim is one of the highest-ranking members of the 5-9 Brims and is heralded as the “Godmother,” which entails that all female members are set to report to her.

Brim along with 10 other members of the 5-9 Brims was also charged in an indictment presented by the Eastern District of New York in Brooklyn for an alleged connection in rivalry acts with the “Real Ryte” gang where members are being accused of participating or conspiring in the murder of rival members.

The indictment states Brim ordered members on the 5-9 Brims during her time behind bars to beat up one of the bartenders at the Angels nightclub in Queens, New York back in 2018.

Due to Star’s coming into motherhood, she is set to self-surrender, as prosecutors are in talks with her attorney for a date and time.

In a 2019 interview on the Brilliant Idiots Podcast, Star revealed that she became blood at the tender age of 12 years old. She was introduced to the lifestyle during her days living in Canarsie, Brooklyn. After experiencing several alternations with local Crips, she felt compelled to join their rival gang, the Bloods.

In January, Brim celebrated the coming of her bundle of joy with a baby shower with famed guests in the likes of Cardi B, Remy Ma, and Lala Anthony in attendance.

Cardi B has shown staunch support of her friend as expressed on social media posts spewed amid controversial times.
