Diddy and the sons have announced that they will revive the show Making The Band after being off the air for over a decade. We aren’t sure when it will premiere but it should be by the end of 2020. Diddy will be behind the scenes as a producer, while the sons, Justin and King Combs and Quincy Brown will be the judges for the competition.
“We not settling for just anybody,” Quincy says in the clip. “If you feel like you got what it takes to compete in today’s industry—y’all know how our pops does it. So expect nothing but the best to be showing up.”
The famous LaurieAnne Gibson will be the choreographer for the show. The auditions will open up in Atlanta on February 28 and 29; Houston on March 7 and 8; Charlotte on March 13 and 14 and New York on March 21 and 22.
According to Deadline, each of these cities will have vocal booths in which people can deliver a music-video-style performance to approved songs.
