The NFL Draft isn’t for another month and a half, yet all indications point towards Joe Burrow being selected number one overall to the Cincinnati Bengals. Some are speculating that Burrow may not want to play in Cincinnati. That may be the case, but a former All-Pro wideout and fan-favorite Bengal might be able to get Burrow onboard.

Former Bengals receiver Chad Johnson tweeted on Tuesday that he is planning to have dinner with the reigning Heisman Trophy winner.

If Burrow is going to quickly get acclimated to Cincinnati, there is no better person on the planet to welcome him to the Bengals than Johnson.

Johnson played in Cincinnati for ten seasons from 2001 to 2010, making six Pro Bowls and four All-Pro teams. Just as Johnson was an All-Pro, the Bengals still have an All-Pro on the roster in AJ Green. Johnson might want to include him on this dinner meetup.

The Bengals by far was the worst team in the NFL last season. All indications point towards the team moving off former All-Pro quarterback Andy Dalton. If you’re going to rebuild, the first position you must nail is the quarterback position.
