The film’s title is seen on the slate of the film and “evokes the biblical passage about God giving humanity dominion over the earth.” The last film in the franchise was Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which saw both researchers and wealthy opportunists attempting to save dinosaurs from a volcanic island.

Director Colin Trevorrow will be back in the Director’s Chair after J.A. Bayona took over for Fallen Kingdom. The film will once again star Chriss Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Fallen Kingdom released in 2018 and grossed over 1.3 billion worldwide, becoming the third Jurassic film to pass the billion-dollar mark.
