With his nostalgic “Friend Back” single still building momentum, Delaware-based R&B singer and producer, Fred Reed, serves up a fresh new jam titled “Tug of War.”
Known for his persistent work in the community, Fred has established a successful, non-profit haven for children to get the opportunity to develop or express their creativity. Located in Wilmington, Delaware, “Reeds Refuge” has provided the city with a positive alternative to what the streets have to offer.
With a relentless drive to cater to the community, Fred has proven to be just as passionate about his music career. Back in the studio and working on his forthcoming project, Lovesided, Fred refers to the album as “a much needed plate of soul.”
His life’s contributions and experiences have helped him develop a more mature and fresh sound. Succeeding in bringing the smooth harmonies of soul and blending it with modern day R&B, this album is definitely “refreshing” to the spirit.
“The intent of this album is to bring back the intimacy music once had – in essence, “baby makin’ music” (the less conventional kind). It is an honest album that covers all aspects of a relationship including the good times, break ups, lies, make-ups, etc. It can be summed up in one word; dynamic,” Fred Reed shares with us.
