The Queens rapper took to Instagram announced that he will be the executive producer stating, “I’m on the move listening to Pop smoke, I decided I’m gonna executive produce and finish his album for him.”

Reports say that Steven Victor, CEO of Pop Smoke’s record label Victor Victor, is warm to this idea.

Again going to social media, he is recruiting talent to make this project knock!

Pop Smoke, real name Bashar Barakah Jackson, was gunned down in his West Hollywood rental home last month. During the rapper’s rise to fame, his rapping style would often be compared to 50 Cent. In a recent interview with Angie Martinez, 50 Cent shares how he has influenced Pop Smoke and the relationship between the two from being his mentor.
