The Fast & Furious movie franchise has added UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou to its cast. The ninth installment will include the dangerous Cameroonian mixed martial artist.
Known as “The Predator” for his powerful striking abilities. Ranked second in the UFC heavyweight division, his most recent win over former champion, Junior dos Santos was a 71-second knockout.
However, Ngannou is apart of a new brigade of African fighters in the UFC that are either dominating or becoming champions. The other two are UFC middleweight star, Israel Adesanya and UFC welterweight star, Kamaru Usman. Both are Nigerian born.
In addition, Francis also won a 26-second knockout over former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez.
Ngannou joins other MMA fighters that have appeared in the Fast & Furious franchise. Former EliteXC champion Gina Carano and former UFC megastar Ronda Rousey have appeared in F&F 6 and 7, respectively.
