You ever wondered who owns the elite recording studio in Times Square with the stars in the ceiling? Penthouse Studios located on the PH floor of the infamous recording studio building 723 7th Avenue is owned by Emmanuel (Manny) Acosta also formally known as Acosta Park.
Acosta has hosted some of the biggest stars at Penthouse including DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Swizz Beats, Ty Dolla, G Eazy, A Boogie, Pop Smoke, Dave East, Lil Tecca, Arcangel, Sech, Kevin Gates, Lil Durk, Juice wrld, Jay Critch, Lil TJay, PNB Rock and many more. Acosta decided after being in the television industry as a casting director for many years, to open Penthouse with his business Partner Jesse Rothman and Colin Rivers to provide established and upcoming artists a space to truly create, Acosta says, “As a creative myself, I wanted to build a space that was designed to maximize creativity and productivity. I think this is why so many artists come to Penthouse.” Acosta is now ready to take on the music industry by storm as a singer, songwriter and actor who is ready to now debut his talents across the globe.
DJ Drewski from New York’s premier radio station Hot 97 has been instrumental to breaking Acosta Park’s new records on the radio for the past 20 weeks.
Acosta Park discussed his 2020 release schedule and it includes an impressive roster of international artists. Manny did go into more detail about a release he has planned in Greece called Strangers. Acosta says, “I am releasing a single in March called Strangers exclusively in Greece with an elite producer who has produced the number 1, 2 and 3 records on the Greece Billboard top 100. I have no doubt this single will do very well in Greece and throughout Europe”. Finally, Acosta says what made him want to be in front of the public now as a singer/songwriter and actor and he says, “I’ve been making music for a long time and with the progression of independent artists/labels it seemed like the right time to start my own career in this business instead of being behind the scenes. Acosta Worldwide is my label and I believe we have the resources, connections and assets to really leave a mark”.
