ESPN is very dry these days due to the coronavirus. Instead of live sports, analysis, and highlights, the network is filled with 30 for 30 documentaries and old games. But what about something new? Michael Jordan and the legendary Chicago Bulls teams of the 1990s may be on the way to save us in The Last Dance docu-series.
The Last Dance was a documentary set to launch during the NBA Finals about the glory years and wrap up of the Chicago Bulls dynasty. So that would give it a June release. With coronavirus restricting TV options, some fans believe the time for that launch should be moved up, which for sure would be a rating boom for the network.
And you know what? Maybe the ESPN brass has heard our cries. The documentary for The Last Dance received a new commercial, citing a “Coming Soon” date opposed to June. Could it be? We hope. The new commercial is below.
