Former SuperBowl MVP Nick Foles is on the move again.
The Chicago Bears have reached a deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars to acquire the veteran quarterback for a 4th round draft pick.
Foles parlayed a great 2018 season into a four-year, $88 million deal with the Jaguars. Now that the Jaguars are in a clear rebuild mode, trading Foles to a Super Bowl contender was a great bounce back for Foles.
The Foles signing signals an end to the Mitch Trubisky era in Chicago. The No. 2 overall pick in 2017 threw for 3,138 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2019. The Bears lost faith in Trubisky for some time now and was ready to make a trade this offseason.
A fresh start will serve Foles just fine. Chicago has been screaming for a winning quarterback for a very long time. The Bears will be hoping that a fresh start will allow Foles to reset and be productive again.
