With the virus corrupting every facet of society, NFL received a blow after it was confirmed that New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has now tested positive for Coronavirus, according to ESPN.
Payton cam forward to the sports channel today (March 19), admitting that he hasn’t felt well since Sunday and got tested on Monday, revealing he had the virus.
He has no fever and no cough and is expected to make a full recovery.
Last weekend, Payton attended a horse racing event in Arkansas and he was not into the social distancing thing.
The NFL is taking precautions since the advent of the virus, amending the 2020 draft which was slated for next month in Las Vegas. The 2020 season has not yet been postponed at the time of this writing.
