Rudy Gobert took to Twitter to give everyone an update on his heath, considering he was the first NBA player to test positive for the coronavirus.
Gobert tested positive for coronavirus on March 12, which led to the postponement of Utah’s game against the Thunder and the suspension of the NBA season minutes later.
Gobert told his fans and followers that he’s lost his sense of smell and taste in the time following his infection.
Since Gobert’s diagnosis, several other NBA players — including Gobert’s Jazz teammate Donovan Mitchell and Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant — have tested positive for the virus.
The symptoms Gobert is talking about are new and haven’t really been mention by the CDC and any other individuals that have tested positive for the coronavirus.
While the two-time Defensive Player of the Year is slowly recovering, there isn’t any timeline or updates to when the NBA season will resume.
