Washington D.C. native, Ari Lennox is switching up the mood in light of the coronavirus pandemic. The singer has announced that she will be dropping a remix EP of her debut studio album, Shea Butter Baby.

The original Shea Butter Baby released May 7th, 2019. The popular studio album includes songs like “BMO,” “Up Late,” and “Chicago Boy,” bringing in 31,000 U.S. album sales. The twelve-track album under Dreamville and Interscope Records included only two features, J Cole, and J.I.D.

The EP is expected to release, March 27th. Lennox, took to her social media to announce the big news to her fans, “Shea Butter Baby Remix EP drops this Friday 3.27!! Can you guess who is on the project?” she wrote. Fans anticipate the album, hoping to possibly hear a collab from R&B singers, Summer Walker and Queen Naija after the three took a picture together at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards.
